Since october 2022  we can call ourselves the proud new owners of this beautiful domain. We enjoyed receiving our guests during the first season are looking forward to welcoming you again from April 2024 at Les Coquelicots de Dordogne.

   Our B&B

Our three gites and B&B are in a very quiet location, set around a shady park on the edge of the village Saint Julien De Lampon. The village is in the Dordogne valley, five minutes from the Dordogne river.

At 300 meters from our property is the village center. At the village center you can find a bakery, butcher, small supermarket, pharmacy, post office, dentist, doctor and a restaurant/bar with a beautiful terrace. In the village there is a market with regional products every Thursday.

Each gite is fully equipped, has its own parking space and private garden with BBQ, sun loungers and parasol. The gardens are separated by a hedge. Internet and WiFi are available. Baby equipment such as a cot, high chair and/or bath can be put down if desired.

We have 1 double gite (Claire) and 1 two-person gite that can be expanded to a 3 or 4-person gite (Cyril) and 1 quadruple gite (Sofie).

An excellent stay in a very comfortable bed and breakfast. Excellent service and very friendly owners who went out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. Special mention for the swimming pool and the access to the refrigerator, which was very much appreciated on these sweltering days.

We stayed for two weeks with friends in the Gîte Sofie, which was very well-equipped, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The air-conditioned rooms were a real plus given the temperatures. A lovely swimming pool completes the picture. It's ideally located for exploring the area and is situated in the village, close to shops and within walking distance.

Our hosts, Laura and Laurent, are delightful, attentive, and very helpful. I highly recommend this place for a stay in the Périgord region.

A perfect stay! The hosts are incredibly attentive, and the pool and air conditioning in the rooms are a real bonus during the heatwave. The location is ideal for exploring tourist attractions.

We stayed for a week in the Claire gite and had a wonderful time! Laura and Laurent were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and gave us fantastic information about local attractions. The gites are perfectly situated in close proximity to major sites and villages in the Dordogne, making it an excellent base for our week of exploring. The pool was a wonderful way to relax after a long day of sightseeing, and having a well-equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare and enjoy dinner out on our private patio in the evening. The village was quiet, but had a small market, a butcher, and a restaurant. It was the perfect location for us to spend a week. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed ourselves with the whole family last week! The three gîtes where we stayed were comfortable, cozy, and fully equipped. We had a great time in the pool, playing darts and table tennis. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and they provide a delicious charcuterie board and breakfast if you wish.
The surroundings are beautiful, and our dogs enjoyed the river.
We will definitely be back here again.

Gîte Sofie was our base for 14 days exploring the Dordogne region.
It turned out to be a perfect choice. The gîte has everything you could possibly need on holiday, is cozily furnished, spacious, clean, and comfortable.
The garden and pool are beautiful, and the location is ideal for visiting the most beautiful villages and towns in the surrounding area. Additionally, and not unimportantly, it's close to several basic shops. No hassle getting in the car in the morning to pick up fresh bread from the bakery or something from the grocer or butcher. Everything is just a few minutes' walk away, and that's pure luxury.
We happily give five stars to Laura and Laurent, the incredibly friendly owners, who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible with advice and assistance.
Recommended? Absolutely 🙂
